From Pages to Stages: The Last Day of a Condemned Man

Victor Hugo's unforgettable work, The Last Day of a Condemned Man, meets theater enthusiasts throughout March. The play tells how a prisoner who learns that he will be executed five weeks in advance becomes dehumanized. Muhammet Emre Aydın is the director of the play. The play features talented actors such as Sude Naz Demirci, Beşir Kaya, Demet Aydın, Mahsun Mavi and Ersoy Temelli and will provide a wonderful day for those who love French literature.
 

For Those Who Love Modern Art: Kendi Gölgesinde

The exhibition titled Kendi Gölgesinde, curated by Emre Baykal and Gizem Uslu Tümer is a group exhibition created from the Arter Collection. The exhibition, which includes fascinating works from 25 artists, is structured around dualities and contrasts such as memory and forgetting, presence, and absence, public and private. It is possible to see the works of important names such as Hüseyin Bahri Alptekin, Cevdet Erek, Jae-Eun Choi, Pedro Barateiro and Mona Hatoum in the exhibition. If you desire art to push you to think and save you from the boundaries of time and space, you can visit the exhibition up until April 7, 2024.
 

An Excellent Exhibition at Pera Museum, Tam Yerinden: İstanbul’a Panoramik Bakışın Tarihi

Prepared in partnership with Pera Museum and Istanbul Research Institute, the exhibition titled Tam Yerinden: İstanbul’a Panoramik Bakışın Tarihi transforms Istanbul from the 15th century to the 20th century into an interactive experience. The exhibition includes interpretations of Istanbul by names such as Seutter, Feraud, Barker, Schranz, Dunn and Robertson. Be sure to check out the exhibition curated by Çiğdem Kafescioğlu, K. The play, which will be staged at Ikincikat Theater on March 1, Caddebostan Cultural Center on March 4, and Altkat Sanat on March 16, promises a night full of laughter with comedy elements. The producer of the play, which includes Kemal Kaplan, Göksu Yılmaz, Buse Energin and Ulaş Elgene, is Akın Öztürk.
