Diary of a Madman, Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol's famous work in which he meticulously deals with class discrimination and social oppression, is staged with a successful performance by Erdal Beşikçioğlu. This solo play, which is about an officer named Poprishchin going crazy step by step in the face of the atrocities he experienced, encourages the audience to experience different emotions and to dwell on them. Diary of a Madman, adapted by Cem Emüler Işık, will be on stage at Kadıköy Municipality Selamiçeşme Freedom Park Amphitheater on July 10.
