This corporate vision, centered on experience, has risen step-by-step on solid foundations. The foundations of Elite World Hotels & Resorts were laid in 1970 in Van, the pearl of the East, with Hazar Turizm. The tourism adventure continued in 1976 with the modest Tahran Hotel, bringing the sincere hospitality of the East to İstanbul in the 1990s. By 2002, the first link of today’s giant hotel chain rose in the heart of Taksim, marking a true turning point.

In 2008, the brand redefined the concept of luxury with the region's first 5-star hotel. Over time, it built a vast network stretching from both sides of İstanbul to the blues of Marmaris, and from the unique nature of Sapanca to the four corners of Anatolia. In 2019, it earned the title of the first domestic hotel chain to be accepted into Turquality, the state-sponsored branding program.
