Eyüp Babür becomes the new CEO of Elite World Hotels
Having 30 years of experience in the tourism industry both at home and abroad, Eyüp Babür will now continue his career at Elite World Hotels.
A significant take-over occurred at Turkey’s local hotel chain Elite World Hotels, which offers a combination of comfort, elegance, and hospitality. Eyüp Babür took over the CEO position of Elite World Hotels from Ünsal Şınık.
Ünsal Şınık, on the other hand, who carried out important projects for the last 12 years, will continue to contribute to Elite World Hotels as a member of the executive board. Stating that he was proudly carrying out his management role at Elite World Hotels, Ünsal Şınık said that he was very happy to hand over the flag to a valuable name in the sector. Şınık added, “I am fully confident that Mr. Eyüp Babür will take Elite World further from its current position. Also, I would like to thank the Elite Family for the support and trust they offered during my years as the CEO of Elite World.”
Eyüp Babür, the new CEO of Elite World Hotels, stated that he was honored to take over the management of Elite World - an innovative and visionary company of its industry. Eyüp Babür graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Business Administration and completed his MBA at NEOMA Business School. Starting his career in Hilton Group, Babür worked as the sales and marketing director at Swissôtel Istanbul-The Bosphorus and then worked in another branch of Swissôtel in Atlanta. Following his return to Turkey, Babür served as the organizational general manager in Istanbul Convention and Visitors Bureau. He started to work as the hotel manager at Çırağan Palace Hotel Kempinski in 2001 and after his time there, he worked as the vice president responsible for the Kempinski Residences portfolio of the group at the Kempinski Hotels headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland between the years 2009-2014. After returning to Turkey, Babür served for five years as the tourism and residential businesses coordinator responsible for a portfolio of Kempinski and Mandarin Oriental hotels and residences, being the investments of Astaş Holding, and later as the director of Turkey and the Commonwealth of Independent States for Shaza Hotels, the brand new group of Kempinski Hotels.
