ELITE WORLD HOTELS IS READY TO CHANGE THE GAME IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY

After a compulsory break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Elite World Hotels is back on the field with its special team called “Elite World CARE” (COVID-19 Anti-Risk Experts) and services to provide best-in-class hospitality operations.

Starting from June 26th, Elite World Hotels will be providing its guests with the healthiest, safest and the most comfortable services in line with the World Health Organization’s recommendations for hospitality industry and the statements and directives of the Science Committee of Turkish Ministry of Health.

Ünsal Şınık, Elite World Hotels CEO, said that they established a special team of 12 experts under the name Elite World CARE with the responsibility to actively conduct inspections and examinations during this new period and that this would facilitate the implementation of the measures. Şınık also highlighted that they would be carrying out continuous improvement activities in line with reports from the team so as to maintain guest satisfaction. Expressing his belief that these challenging times would soon come to an end as a result of collaborative efforts both in Turkey and the world with the least possible damage, Şınık continued: “Our biggest and most important priority is the health and safety of both our employees and guests. Elite World CARE is the guarantee of compliance with hygiene and health measures within Elite World Hotels. That’s why you can count on the necessary hygiene standards being met wherever you see the Elite World CARE logo. As always, we will continue to welcome you at Elite World Hotels with the same level of hospitality and care we have shown our guests since Day One. We, as a team, will provide a sustainably safe, comfortable and hygienic environment for our guests as well as our employees by implementing the designated sets and measures. All our hotel managers and employees have adapted to the new measures and practices very quickly and started to follow them with diligence and discipline. With all measures taken in line with our slogan “Because We Care”, Elite World Hotels is now ready for this new sort of holiday experience in this new period where it will act in concert with the globally-recognized World Hotels Collection, of which we are a member of.”

Elite World Sapanca Convention & Wellness Resort will be the first to reopen its doors on June 26th, and it will be followed by Elite World Marmaris and Elite World Istanbul in Taksim on July 1st. The other hotels of the chain will welcome their guests on a gradual basis. Elite World Hotels ensured top level hygiene and safety measures in all its reopening hotels and rearranged every corner to meet the necessities of the new period in addition to the precautions taken at all departments. Elite World Hotels also took a series of measures considering the guests to offer them a safe and comfortable holiday experience with everything rearranged down to the last detail. The Elite World Social Distancing Plan, which includes the social distancing rules and recommendations that guests and employees must comply with within the hotel, has been put into practice and started to be implemented. To this end, we have put in place the equipment

required to maintain social distancing at entrances to receptions, restaurants, elevators, rooms, and common bathrooms and to ensure extra spaces to manage guest relations in the healthiest way possible.

Emel Elik Bezaroğlu, Board Member of the Elite World Hotels, said that they put thermal cameras at hotel entrances instead of thermometers, while explaining in detail the measures and precautions taken at all Elite World Hotels. Also talking about their contactless operations, Bezaroğlu said: “We took our restaurant menus into the digital environment. Using a QR code, guests will be able to order using their own mobiles without the need to touch the menu. We increase the availability of contactless payment systems and develop mobile application software.”

Bezaroğlu also pointed out that they were providing the entire staff with regular and continuous training on the pandemic and the hygiene rules: “We continue to work with international companies when it comes to hygiene, inspection and food safety. To take better preventive health precautions as part of our fight against COVID-19, we improved the intensity of our ongoing collaboration with the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, SGS. We also increased the levels of our cooperation with Ecolab, a leading global company in the fields of hygiene and sanitation, which provides us with its products, systems, as well as services and training programs. We applied for the Safe Tourism Certificate. We are waiting to be inspected to get the approval.”

Bezaroğlu added that their hotels would function at half capacity for the time being to allow guests more social distancing and provide them with a safer and more refreshing holiday experience.

Getting ready to welcome its guests once again, Elite World Hotels says “If You Are Ready, We Are Ready Too”. With all measures in place, the chain will be offering its guests the holiday experience they have been longing for. With its broad and spacious green open areas, as well as its restaurants and cafés boasting gardens, terraces and awning windows, Elite World Hotels promises a return to a healthy, happy and peaceful life with top level measures to meet social distancing rules blended with a comfortable stay experience.
