Watch out for the Sun!
Do not leave your children under the sun between 11:00 and 16:00, when the sun's rays are most effective. A sunscreen should be applied at least 20 minutes before going out to the sun. The protective lotion with a higher than 30 factor (SPF) should be applied and repeated 3-4 hours apart. Even with in the shade, the sun can be affect reflecting from the sand, the sea or the pool. Children should wear loose outfits and a hat. Light colored and cotton type outfits should be preferred.
Do Not Forget These Before Going Swimming!
All children must swim with adult supervision. Do not leave your children unattended in places like swimming pool, sea, spa, even for a moment. While children enjoy the pool so much, the experts warn that the sea is healthier. Do not forget that equipment such as arm floats, life buoy or a kickboard can have a life saving effect.
Do not Disregard Bug Bites
Avoid wearing bright colored clothing and using strong smells like perfume or deodorant, as they attract insects. Avoid being areas such as greenhouses, gardens, stagnant water, or ponds. Prefer repellents which are organic.
Food Poisoning Cases Increases in Warmer Weathers
Foods such as mayonnaise, milk, eggs, meat, poultry, seafood in hot weather are very suitable for bacteria and toxins that cause food poisoning. Do not consume food that has been out in the open in high temperatures for more than 1-2 hours. Make sure you know the source of the water consumed. In addition, fruits and vegetables must be washed well and kept refrigerated and stored at appropriate temperatures.
