ELITE WORLD HOTELS

PRACTICES FOR COMMON AREAS AND PROCEDURES

  • In all common spaces, rooms and elevators, our measures are shared with guests and employees on digital or written document boards. Necessary information on hygiene is provided.
  • The use of elevators is regulated and limited according to social distancing rules. The necessary warning and information signs are placed outside and inside the elevators.
  • All the managers of all our hotels have received the necessary certificates by getting hygiene and cleaning training. Personal hygiene and cleaning are also included in these training sessions.
  • The masks, gloves, hand disinfectants, common area disinfectants and cleaning materials that are used in the facility are TSE (Turkish Standards Institution) certified and approved by the Ministry of Health.
  • Healthcare professionals and food engineers in the hotel staff have been prepared within the framework of the action plan in relation to the Covid-19 process, and action planning and practices are included in their duties and responsibilities.
  • "The Elite World Covid-19 Emergency Action Plan" including the protocol to be applied and the persons and authorities to be contacted for the Covid-19 infection cases involving guests/employees, which are encountered at the hotel, has been published and put into practice at all hotels. Emergency teams, including medical staff, have been created within the hotels.
  • The "Elite World Social Distancing Plan", which includes the social distancing rules and suggestions that guests and employees must comply with within the hotel, has been put into practice and started to be implemented.
  • The current evacuation, emergency plans and risk management processes have been revised considering the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Thermal cameras and  temperature-measuring systems have been installed in each hotel. The temperature of each guest and staff is measured at the entrances through a thermal camera and recorded. Those with high fever are not allowed to enter the facility or they can be isolated in the quarantine rooms, and the situation is promptly shared with the health units and the relevant people are transferred to health institutions.
  • An adequate number of disinfectant stations has been created everywhere. Adequate number of protective clothing and equipment is available at the facilities.
  • The mask, glove and disinfectant stocks, in particular are strictly monitored and the possibility of a potential stock problem is eliminated.
  • The hotels question the health and travel histories of the guests before making a reservation, and demand a Covid-19 test and medical report, if necessary.
  • Special attention is paid to and communication practices are carried out for special groups of guests (those who are over 60 years old, infants, those with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, those who are on special diets, etc.).
  • Within the framework of the road map that was or will be published by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, the bed capacities and open buffet/all-inclusive concepts of our hotels will be reconsidered and our services will be maintained.
  • To ensure healthy and safe areas for both our guests and employees, our hotel is inspected by and receives consultancy services from qualified and world’s leading institutions and organizations in the fields of health, hygiene, as well as environment and guest satisfaction including SGS, Ecolab, U.S. Green Building Council (LEED Certificate), Bureau Veritas, World Hotels, Green Hotel Initiative of the Turkish Ministry of Culture (Eco-Friendly Accommodation Facilities), PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, and TripAdvisor.
  • An application has been made for a Tourism Certificate and additional information about the process will be shared.
  • The entrance doors of the general toilets are arranged as automatic door systems and the contacts during the entrance and exit are reduced.
  • The use and circulation of cash within the hotel are minimized and the use of pos machines and contactless payment methods are increased.
  • Waste management is checked more frequently and disinfected. An officer who will follow up the entire process in waste management, has been appointed. A separate department has been created for medical waste and the use of these areas is inspected.
  • Workers for hotel vehicles use their personal protective equipment (disposable gloves and masks) during work. Arrangements have been made regarding the carrying capacities of vehicles and the in-shuttle seating order, considering the social distancing rule. Vehicles are constantly ventilated.
  • Processes regarding the use of the places of worship / masjids, hairdressers, barber shops and sales stores in the hotels and the rules to protect the social distance have been redesigned. Disposable products are preferred and used.
  • Our hotels are able to offer comfortable service privileges in accordance with the social distancing rules with their large, green open areas, spacious restaurants and cafes with gardens, terraces and awning windows.
  • We have put in place QR code applications to facilitate access to notifications and menus digitally.
