10 TREKKING ROUTES IN AND AROUND ISTANBUL

Trekking means moderate walking in nature, and is one of the most beautiful activities that people living in a metropolis like Istanbul can do to escape from the chaos of the city. Belgrad Forest - Istanbul

Located on an area of 5.300 hectares, Belgrad Forest has multiple trekking routes. Although people of Istanbul usually prefer Belgrad Forest for picnic, it is also possible to go trekking there. You can witness the most beautiful state of the nature in specific routes of Belgrad Forest.

 

Sakligol - Sile

The track located in this paradise which is 50 km to Istanbul is 2-3 km in length. You can enjoy a cup of strong freshly brewed tea across the lake after trekking on this track which is suitable for beginners.
